GENERAL RULES
General rules for all TopCo Virtual Airlines members
On these lines you cand find all the rules and restrictions in the company.
- To be part of TopCo Virtual Airlines (hereinafter TopCo VA) you must register on the web by filling in all the fields of the form.
- No disrespect or inappropriate behavior is allowed. Failure to comply with this rule is a serious offense and may be a solid reason to immediately banned.
- At least 1 flight a month must be reported, with a minimum duration of 30 minutes to remain as an active member in the company.
- Each pilot must report their flights through TopCo VA's SIMACARS. This is the main flight reporting system.
- All doubts, requests and suggestions will be made to the Heads of the different departments of the airline, or in their absence to the CEO.
- TopCo VA is a virtual airline that operates in IVAO, and that means that all flights on the airline will be on that flight network. This implies accepting and complying with all the rules of the IVAO flight network, assuming the consequences of their non-compliance by the IVAO STAFF and the TopCo VA STAFF.
- Any member belonging to the Staff, or who obtains the rank of Staff, will have the impediment of being Staff in other airlines of the IVAO network in order to guarantee a correct management of their position in TopCo VA, thus avoiding unnecessary interference.
- Becoming TopCo VA's member will immediately grant you the rank of Trainee Pilot.
- To rise in rank as a pilot in the airline, a practical test will be requested from the Head of the Flight School, who will determine whether or not the test is passed.
- The use of the airline's aircrafts, will require to have the corresponding pilot rating and rank.
- Flying in different flight rules than the qualification obtained is not permitted, with the exception of pilots in training, who, for obvious reasons, will be able to perform VFR flights. For example, a VFR PPL cannot fly in IFR.
- Once the IFR rating has been obtained, the indistinct use of all the company's aircraft will be allowed.
- All flights reported in SIMACARS must always be connected to IVAO and with the callsign of "TOC" and the numbering corresponding to each pilot or the regular route. Those reports / pireps that are sent and correspond to flights made outside IVAO, disconnected, or with another callsign other than "TOC" will be insta-rejected.
- Flights whose record shows irregularities in the operational flight procedures will not be admitted. For example, a flight without a correct descent and it is at FL300 and 20Nm from the runway, or a flight which descent is late and to solve it the plane is thrown into a dive or at low rates. descent and speeds greater than those that an aircraft of the type chosen can withstand. Flights that do not carry an established flight plan won't be accepted, as well as direct flights without following a route previously carried out by the pilot.
- It will be the obligation and responsibility of each pilot to be aware of AIRAC updates and NOTAM publications both from ENAIRE AIP and IVAO.
- The rules and restrictions notified in this document will only be valid and applicable in the context of TopCo VA and in the flights under the callign of "TOC". They will not affect or be applicable if the pilot makes the flight with the callsign of another virtual company or with callsign "EC-" although he also belongs as a member of TopCo VA. Obviously, flights that are not made under the "TOC" callsign cannot be reported to TopCo VA's system.
- All new member will acknowledge all the above points and agree to respect the rules under any circumstances.
- The company's management positions will have a duration of 4 years from the date of their election, not forcing them in any case to continue if their decision is to resign within their mandate.
The breach of any of the points will suppose a fault and assessing the seriousness of the same, the Staff of the company will take the pertinent measures described below:
- In the case of minor faults:
- A warn will be sent to the person who violates any rule or restriction, and the person will be informed of this in writing.
- If the person repeat absences or after an accumulation of warnings, the account will be temporarily suspended between 15 and 60 days.
- If after these measures, violations continue, those who repeatedly violate the rules at TopCo VA will be perma-banned.
- In the case of major fault, one of the following two options will be taken directly:
- The offender's account as a TopCo VA pilot will be suspended. The duration of the suspension will be evaluated and decided by the TopCo VA STAFF, ranging on average between 1 month and 6 months.
- The offender will be perma-banned, and all his data and account will be deleted from TopCo VA. *
*This measure will be applied without any exception after the breach of rule number 2 described in the upper part of this document. The reasons for this are basic, respect, which we consider to be the basis of everything.
